In April 2007 we finally got Christine Johnson from Iron Horse Farm down for a clinic. We all had a wonderful time fine tuning our horses for show season and getting some additional schooling tips. We wish to thank Christine for her time and expertise. She has been instrumental in the acquisition of many of our fine youth horses. Thanks so much!

Here are a couple of photos from the Magnolia Show in Perry Georgia, April 2007.

In October 2006, we had the Boys and Girls club of Bulloch County out for a field trip. We were able to pBoys and Girls Club of Statesboro visit Flattich Arabians - October 12, 2006resent them with a $500 donation through all of the hard work our students did over the summer. Students 'earned' donation money through various chores around the farm. This was their day to see the work come to fruition.

We started out by having a parade of horses and discussing their different colors and markings. We then had a demonstration of grooming and let the kids look at and hold the many tools used for such. Finally, the children were allowed to ride a horse. After their ride, they were given a packet with a coloring page, a brochure on the Arabian horse, a paper illustrating the attributes of Arabians, and finally a Polaroid snapshot of them on top of a horse to take home as a souvenir. Needless to say, they were very excited!

Boys and Girls Club of Statesboro visit Flattich Arabians - October 12, 2006The Boys and Girls club offers after school activities to under privileged kids. Most of the kids we had at the farm that day are in foster care and are available for adoption. Our next charity will be CASA. It is an organization that specifically advocates for children in foster care. I hope the girls will work just as hard if not harder to see a donation go to this great organization. Thanks to everyone who helped out, it was a wonderful day!
